DISGRACE MY ENEMIES
ENLARGE MY COAST
ANNOUNCE ME WITH GLORY
LEAD ME THROUGH THE YEAR
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; And my people shall never be put to shame. {Joel 2:26}
Whenever the Lord deals wondrously with a man the proof and effect of the dealings cannot be denied. To men it is called the wonders of God.
SOME PEOPLE THAT ENCOUNTERED WONDROUS DEALINGS OF GOD
1. In Gen 24:50 The servant of Abraham caused laban to release Rebecca without an opinion
2. 1 Sam 3:11, God Himself told Samuel of his ability to do wonders…
‘Then the Lord told Samuel: Behold I will do something in Israel at which both ears of everyone who hears it will tingle. 3. Due to the magnitude of doings in the life of David, he had nothing to say but to open his mouth and scream, it is the Lords doing and it is marvelous in my sight, (Psa I m 118:23, Psalml26:3).
The effect and acknowledgment of God’s doings cannot be over emphasized, and His ability to perform wonders cannot be denied, Isaiah 28:21b says “That he may do His work, His awesome work, and bring to pass His act, His unusual act. It is good to know that the scriptures cannot be broken, and God is still the same yesterday, today and forever, therefore He is still well able to deal wondrously with individuals today. Praise the Lord.
For everything God has in store for his children, there is a price to pay; therefore to provoke God this year, to deal wondrously with you, there is also something to do. From the windows of Joel Chapter 2, before God poured out plenty in verse 26, the children of Israel had to do something, in verse 12 the Bible says we should come to the Lord with fasting, weeping and mourning. As if it was not enough, He repeated it in verse 15 saying consecrate a fast.
Th ^lace of fasting and prayer cannot be removed from true success, blessings and breakthroughs. Therefore to take over this year in your favour, you need to ensure you take up a wailing in that place of fasting and prayer crying out…. 0 Lord deal wondrously with me. Amen.
